GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS / GUARDIANS
Parents / Guardians Should:
- Not encourage absenteeism. They should take their children
for outings, only during vacations.
- Ensure that their ward brings this diary daily to the
school. In addition, please go through the same every day and ensure that
your ward has completed given home assignments. Also check the diary for
any instruction/information sent to you through the same. Checking of the
school bag every day is recommended.
- Are requested not to enter the classroom of their ward
during class hours without prior permission of the Principal.
- If your ward is sick, do not send him/her to school.
Please do not ask for half-day leave as the teaching process is disturbed.
- Not indulge themselves in any unhealthy activities like
criticizing teachers or criticizing the school as a whole. The school
authorities take this as an act of breach of school discipline.
- Not allow their ward to carry any valuable articles since
the school does not take any responsibility for any lost item. However,
all efforts may be made to trace out such articles.
- Ensure minimum 90% of attendance of their ward enabling
him/her to appear for the final examinations. Also ensure that your ward
does not remain absent until and unless circumstances are unavoidable.
- Provide their ward with well-fitting, neat, and tidy sets
of school dress.
- See-off and receive their ward personally at the bus stop.
- Consult the school calendar, date, and other circulars
before making any inquiries either personally or by phone.
- Have to deposit fees for the whole academic session
irrespective of their ward being admitted at any time during the session.
- Ensure the ward learns to take proper care of his/her
belongings
- Attend all meetings, programs, and functions organized by
the school.
- Read and explain Rules and Regulations of the school to
their ward.
- Ensure that their ward is mentally prepared for compulsory
computer literacy from Class 1 onwards.
- It is compulsory to pay fees by 25th of every month.
GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS
You Should:
- Be punctual and reach 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled
time dressed in neat and tidy school uniform.
- Greet the Principal, Teachers, and other elders saying
"Good Morning", "Good Afternoon" or "Good
Evening" considering the hour of the day when you meet them.
- Develop a habit for bowing before your parents and
touching their feet when you leave the bed in the morning and when you go
to sleep at night.
- Stand up in silence when the teacher or any elder speaks
to you or addresses you.
- Politely ask the permission of the teacher before entering
the classroom or leaving it.
- Always politely offer your teacher to enter the classroom
first if both of you reach simultaneously.
- Stand smartly and attentively when a teacher or an elder
speaks to you.
- If something falls from the hands of your teacher or elder
in your presence, pick it up and give it to him/her.
- In case you are not able to avoid passing and going ahead
of your teacher or elder, do not forget to say, "Kindly excuse
me!" Similarly, when you are not able to understand what your teacher
or elder has told you, say, "I beg your pardon please."
- Say "Thank you" for any Favor granted to you by
anyone or if you receive something you wanted from someone.
- Do not throw bits of paper or any other waste in the
school premises and help your school remain neat and clean.
- Ensure wearing neat and well-ironed school dress, polished
shoes, properly trimmed nails, and tidy hair. Under any circumstance, you
must not criticize your school or your teachers.
- Bring your diary daily and show same to your parents in
the evening for their information and guiding you accordingly
- Ensure the sanctity of your school as this is "Your
temple of learning." Your words and actions must reflect your good behaviour
and personality.
- Be kind and affectionate to your juniors and respectful to
your seniors. Never hurt them with your words or actions.
- Be respectful to all teachers, even if they do not take
any of your classes.
- Take care of your belongings. The school does not take any
responsibility for any loss or damage.
- Maintain complete silence even during recess. Do not run
in corridors or around the school building. Shouting and throwing any
objects at each other in the school premises is strictly prohibited.
- Return the report card duly signed by the parents or
Guardians within 3 days after its receipt.
